Hello! My name is Mehar Raj Agnihotri, and I am currently a college student pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology, and minoring in neuroscience at the University of California, Riverside, as a first year, junior class student, in the pursuit of achieving the position of a pediatric cardiothoracic neurosurgeon. At the moment, I am employed as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/ Behavior Interventionist (BI), who works with children with autism and other special needs, and I volunteer at the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. Previously, I obtained my high school diploma from Glendora High School, and I was recognized in the Top 10% of my school, as an honor roll student. I have taken 15 AP classes, 6 dual enrollment courses, and have achieved above a cumulative 4.0 GPA.
By using my academic knowledge and advanced communication, writing, and reading skills in English, I hope to provide quality help to children who are dedicated to learn and make progress, while gaining personal experience of working with children and expanding my social network in order to supplement my future career. My tutoring services are based on providing hands-on assistance to children in areas of writing and reading with potential improvement, reviewing general concepts and ideas, and/or providing appropriate practice as needed. In my tutoring sessions, I will be using a 3-step learning process, which will begin with reviewing the area of concern, addressing the issue with a hands-on learning technique, and independent practicing.
