I've worked with students for over a decade, from middle school all the way to college, and I look forward to working with you to tackle whatever problems you're facing!

I hold a Master of Arts in Political Science from UC Riverside and a Bachelor of Arts from UC Davis. For the past seven years, I've worked as a Teaching Associate and Assistant at UC Riverside, where I've taught undergraduate courses in comparative politics, U.S. constitutional law, U.S. foreign policy, and labor studies. In that role, I designed curriculum, delivered lectures, and worked one-on-one with students on their writing assignments - everything from short response essays to research papers. I've supported first-generation college students, ESL learners, and students with accommodations, adapting my approach to meet each student's individual needs.

My teaching experience spans classroom instruction, one-on-one tutoring, group workshops, and volunteer training. I've worked with middle school students building foundational writing skills, high school students preparing for college, and college students refining their academic writing for upper-division courses. Whether we're working on essay structure, college application personal statements, or test prep for the SAT or ACT, my focus is always on giving students tools they can use independently - not just fixing one assignment, but building skills that transfer to every writing challenge they'll face.
