About Me
I’m an undergraduate bioengineering student at UC Riverside, pursuing a data science minor and working toward a career in drug development. I’m also a dancer on UCR’s AAG team and a member of ACM, where I help design tech products and build websites for on-campus organizations. I’ve also developed websites for nonprofits, including the International Foundation for Disabled Individuals.
Beyond academics, I enjoy sports like Formula 1, table tennis, basketball, and soccer. I’ve taken several AP courses—AP Literature, AP Language, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Computer Science A, AP World History, and AP U.S. History—so I know what it takes to succeed in challenging subjects.
Tutoring & Teaching Experience
I have over two years of experience mentoring and teaching through my time as Speech and Debate Captain in high school. I led a 300-person debate program, coached students one-on-one and in small groups, and helped many qualify for and place in top tournaments such as Harvard, Stanford, and Columbia. Those years taught me how to explain complex ideas clearly, adjust my approach to different learning styles, and build students’ confidence through steady progress.
I’ve since applied those skills to tutoring academic subjects, focusing on helping students truly understand the material rather than just memorize it.
Subjects & Approach
I tutor all levels of middle and high school math—Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus—as well as biology and chemistry. My approach is student-centered: I first identify what’s confusing or intimidating, then break it down with simple explanations, examples, and consistent practice.
Whether you want to strengthen your foundation, boost your grades, or just get through a tough topic quickly, I’ll adapt to what works best for you. I’m also available for questions and guidance between sessions.
I look forward to helping you feel more confident and capable in your studies.
