I was an after school instructor teaching students ages 6-18 the basics of computer programming. I ran classrooms, created lessons, and helped students one on one. I understand the many different learning styles people have and excel at adapting my teaching methods to best fit students' needs.
My tutoring approach for STEM is to utilize example problems in areas/subjects students are working to be more proficient in. I like to build a strong foundation starting with simple problems that enable students to build their confidence to tackle more complex ones. I like to achieve this by methodically dissecting and working through problems together step by step to help fully grasp concepts.
