I grew up with two elementary school teachers as parents and always loved helping fellow classmates with assignments. I became an editor for my school newspaper in no time and became the Editor-in-Chief after a year in the program. I am an English major at the University of California Santa Barbara with an interest in editing and creative writing, though I also love reading. I love helping with any English-related assignments and, because I grew up with two siblings much younger than myself, I am very good with kids.
I have lots of experience grading and editing assignments at the elementary, middle, and high school levels through volunteer time. I'm very comfortable editing articles, papers, and helping prepare essays for submission. Assignment-wise, I have experience grading for various grade levels and have a general idea what many teachers might expect.
I've spent the most time helping elementary and middle school students, though I feel comfortable with high school students as well! I have helped younger students with their reading, middle schoolers with their thesis statements, and high schoolers with their essays. I enjoy doing every part of it and would love to help anyone willing to learn.
