I am a mechanical engineer working for NavAir (We support Top Gun) and I use math and physics as well as creativity and problem solving skills every day to solve high level real world problems. I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from BYU-Idaho and I successfully passed the FE exam in preparation to become a licensed engineer.

Throughout high school I went to tutors for help staying ahead and truly came to value them. As I began working towards my degree, I paid my way through college by tutoring others. I have five years of tutoring experience with most of my time spent helping college students and a few high schoolers.

I tutored one-on-one and groups doing both in-person and online sessions. The first two years I worked for a company who trained me in teaching methods and regularly reviewed my tutoring sessions to help me develop my skills. After my time with them I began freelance tutoring on my own. I have taught many subjects including Physics, Statics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and math courses for all levels including remedial math, Geometry, Algebra 1 and 2, Calc 1 and 2 and Differential Equations/Linear Algebra in a clear way. If you want to develop a deep understanding of the underlying principles and learn to apply those things to real world situations then I'm your guy.

I am very patient and capable of pivoting in the moment to explain things in different ways to meet the needs and learning styles of different individuals. Despite being an engineer, I enjoy connecting with people and joking around and I always strive to make tutoring sessions a fun experience for both of us.

I tutor exclusively online and will be available in the evenings. I love sharing the things I know and seeing the excitement that comes from learning.
