I am a physician (MD), ECFMG-certified medical graduate, ASCPi-certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist, and former Pathology Resident with a strong passion for teaching, mentorship, and helping students succeed in high-stakes academic and professional examinations.
Over the years, I have taught and mentored students across multiple levels, including medical students, international medical graduates (IMGs), laboratory science students, and pre-health learners. My teaching experience includes serving as a pathology instructor and medical educator, where I taught pathology, microbiology, biochemistry, hematology, and clinical laboratory medicine in a structured, exam-focused manner. I have also provided one-on-one tutoring for students preparing for major licensing and certification examinations, including USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, Step 3, and ASCP/ASCPi laboratory certification exams. Having successfully passed all USMLE exams on my first attempt and built a strong clinical and laboratory medicine foundation, I understand what it takes to master complex concepts and perform under pressure.
My tutoring approach is highly personalized, strategic, and student-centered. I focus not only on helping students understand difficult concepts, but also on teaching efficient test-taking strategies, memory retention techniques, clinical reasoning, and confidence-building methods that improve performance. I adapt my teaching style depending on each student’s learning needs—whether they need foundational explanation, exam drilling, question-based review, or structured study planning. I believe tutoring should be engaging, supportive, and results-driven, with clear goals and measurable progress.
Students who work with me can expect patience, professionalism, clarity, and a mentor who genuinely cares about their success. Whether you are struggling with medical sciences, preparing for professional board exams, improving laboratory science knowledge, or seeking guidance as an international medical graduate,
