With a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and an Associate of Science in Applied Mathematics, I bring both comprehensive STEM knowledge and real-world experience to my tutoring. My background covers everything from foundational algebra to advanced calculus and statistics, allowing me to support students through all levels of their mathematical journey.

Since 2015, I have tutored high school, college, and adult learners—both individually and in small groups. I use clear, patient explanations and customize lessons to each student’s needs, emphasizing conceptual understanding alongside practical problem-solving. Communication and encouragement are central to my teaching, and I make it a priority to keep students and families engaged throughout the learning process. My philosophy, summed up by my motto “Math isn’t that tough,” is to demystify math and make it inviting and achievable for every student.

Above all, I am passionate about working with underrepresented communities and promoting access to STEM opportunities. As the founder of STEMFLAG, a clothing brand and initiative launched in 2017, I aim to create pathways for students from diverse backgrounds to thrive in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Through STEMFLAG, I use fashion and community engagement to remove barriers and inspire the next generation of innovators. My work inside and outside the classroom reflects my belief that STEM can—and should—be accessible, empowering, and fun for everyone.
