I’m Erica, a registered nurse with over two decades of hands-on clinical experience across diverse healthcare settings. My nursing journey began with practical nursing and advanced through registered nursing, earning my BSN from Johns Hopkins University and my MSN from the University of Pennsylvania—both leaders in nursing education. Throughout my career, I’ve practiced in high-acuity and specialized environments including ICU, cardiac care, post-surgical units, geriatrics, and medical-surgical floors, gaining a deep, practical understanding of patient care and clinical decision-making.

For the past nine years, I’ve dedicated myself to tutoring and mentoring nursing students at the RN and BSN levels, along with serving as a clinical preceptor for BSN candidates. I understand how demanding nursing school can be—the pace, volume, and pressure to perform can easily become overwhelming. My strength as a tutor lies in breaking complex material into clear, manageable concepts and adapting my teaching style to how you learn best.

I focus on building true comprehension, not memorization. Together, we’ll strengthen evidence-based nursing practice, clinical reasoning, prioritization and delegation, test-taking strategies, and problem-solving skills. I place special emphasis on mastering NCLEX-style questions and multiple-choice strategies so you can approach exams with confidence rather than anxiety.

I also provide structured, supportive preparation for both the NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN, including content review, practice questions, and personalized study strategies. Nursing has been a deeply meaningful profession for me, and I’m passionate about helping students succeed. I offer both online and in-person tutoring and remain flexible because questions don’t always follow a schedule.
