About Joseph

Bio

I am a doctoral student at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. I write from my home in Woodside. I have many years of experience tutoring and teaching at all levels, including many years teaching Latin, Italian, and Spanish to children.

I love sharing my passion for Italian language and culture! I have lived in Italy for six years of my life, and I feel so grateful to know and love the land of my ancestors. I desire to help as many people as possible to grow in knowledge...

I am blessed with fluency in Italian, Spanish, and Latin. I am able to help my students connect new words with known objects, allowing them to discover language intuitively. I also believe very much in connecting the study of language with an appreciation of travel and culture. For me, studying Italian is like taking a trip to Italy in my mind!

I have published many articles in my career, and I love to express myself in speaking and writing. I am passionate about language and the word, and I love to read. I desire to instill a similar passion in my students.
