Hi, I'm Joe! I'm a third year student at the USC-Caltech MD/PhD program. I earned my B.S. in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology with a Minor in Biomedical Research from UCLA in 2020 and graduated with a 3.99 GPA.
I am very well versed with the MCAT and scored in the 100th percentile (524 - 132/129/132/131). I am passionate about helping my students succeed and assist from planning a study schedule to reviewing problem-solving strategies.
I also offer proofreading and editing of AMCAS applications for both MD and MD/PhD programs. I received interviews at four different top 10 programs and acceptances at many competitive programs across the country. In our meetings, I am able to review everything related to the medical school application cycle including the primary essay, activities section, secondary essays, diversity statement, and interview prep. My favorite part of tutoring is helping students bring out the unique elements of their experiences and put this on paper. My schedule is flexible and I would love to help optimize your application!
