I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), where I graduated with a GPA of 3.66. My academic background includes advanced coursework in biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and psychology, which has prepared me to tutor in a wide range of STEM subjects.

I have over five years of tutoring experience across various settings. Throughout college, I tutored elementary through high school students in math, science, Spanish and English, both privately and through school-based programs. My approach emphasizes building strong foundational understanding through guided practice, real-life examples, and breaking down complex topics into manageable steps.

I also served as a volunteer peer leader and tutor at my local Catholic Church for high school teens preparing for confirmation, providing both academic and emotional support. In addition, I volunteered every Saturday for five years as a referee and mentor for AYSO teams for children with special needs, which helped me develop patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills with students of varying learning abilities.

Most recently, I work as an academic tutor for elementary and middle school students in all core subjects, including Spanish, and have experience tailoring lessons to students with different learning styles.
