Patient, friendly, and knowledgeable German tutor

Nancy is very patient and kind, especially when it comes to helping with pronunciation and grammar. She has been working with me and my husband, and is great at accommodating different learning styles. She has great tips for memory work, and she always has great insights into German culture (she's from Germany, so that's a real plus). I highly recommend Nancy!!!

Excellent and very knowledgeable tutor

Nancy has been instrumental in bridging two months of German school for my son during a business trip. She has not only done a great job ensuring him staying up to speed with the necessary content, she was also able to combine his lessons with field trips and other ways of learning, getting him even further advanced than his classmates after the two months' trip. I highly recommend Nancy for primary school students based on my experience.

I have just had two lessons and Nancy has been a great help so far! She makes learning a new language seem much less daunting than I thought it might be. She is encouraging and patient. Tremendous Help!

I’ll be honest, I really gave this review a lot of thought...mainly because Nancy has helped me tremendously in just 5 or 6 lessons at a couple hours each lesson. I have been around the German language for about 18 years or so (off and on) and though my reading and reading comprehension I have maintained and I consider to be at a pretty decently high level. Speaking had always been a foreign concept to me (no pun intended). I sought out a tutor who could not only take my speaking to the next level; but could also ensure that it is fun and entertaining...an amazing speaking partner. Nancy’s planning is 100% based around what you as the student want to achieve. She molds and shapes everything to fit you and your list of goals. I have no plans of ending our lessons together anytime soon and am so happy with her that even after we have ended them, whenever that day comes, I hope to still maintain a speaking relationship with her. If you are serious about your German and are looking for a tutor to help you grow or maybe polish your skills, see Nancy. I have had 4 German teachers over the years and none of them come close....okay maybe one of them lol. But truly Nancy has been an amazing help and I look forward to every single session...and when the session is over, I am anxious for the next. Sorry for writing a book but I wanted to do my very best in conveying how helpful she truly is...recommended!

Great German Tutor

Nancy is an amazing German tutor! It's been like my 15th session with her and my German skills have definitely been improving at a good pace. She knows her stuff in terms of correcting your pronunciation and provides help with any questions that you may have. I'd highly recommend taking Nancy.

Excellent Tutor!!

We have been meeting with Nancy for a couple months now and she is the greatest! In addition to learning German, she has also taught us cultural behaviors which is so helpful if you are planning a trip to Germany. I would highly recommend her!!
