Hi, I’m Xavier. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah. The courses that have content I still build off today are Digital Design (AutoCAD and 3D printing), Computational Methods (MATLAB and Python), Clinical Problem Solving (Medical device needs development), and Biodesign (Engineering Capstone project). What these courses all have in common is project based learning, problem solving. I believe learning is creative problem solving and I want to assist others to learn in that way based on their learning type.
During undergrad, I worked closely with classmates, lab managers, and mentors to succeed in demanding courses. I know how hard it feels to work alone. I aim to act as a study partner who helps you think clearly, ask better questions, and make steady progress.
My lessons follow a structured approach. I adapt university level course material into guided lessons with clear goals, thought provoking questions, and small projects. You bring your assignments or topics. We break them down and rebuild understanding step by step.
I bring hands on experience from research and industry. I completed an R and D internship at Scientia Vascular, where I worked on medical device testing, verification, and fixture design. I also led a senior thesis project where I built a Fusion 360 application to automatically generate custom porous implant scaffolds using Python. I also enjoy personalized web app development and worked with a friend to build a tool that aggregates booking websites.
Everyone learns differently. I welcome your suggestions and questions. This is my first week on the platform. If you feel dissatisfied, I offer a refund.
