I have been a Japanese online teacher since 2007, also I do some interpreter/ translation job as a freelancer. I started learning English seriously in high school through a special English curriculum in Japan and through my experience as an exchange student in New Zealand for a year. I acquired teaching experience through helping a Japanese teacher in high school classes while in New Zealand. Also, I used and improved my bilingual ability living in U.S and Thailand, through working for companies which trade materials and products overseas in Japan, also worked for an American company at its Tokyo office in Japan. I moved to the United States in 2016. I am a cheerful person and I would be happy to assist you whether you want to learn conversation in Japanese for fun, or you need help with your Japanese class assignments, and so much more.

I am a Japanese teacher with 10 years of experience. Before I moved to the United States, I was also teaching Japanese, English, History, Geography and Social studies to Japanese junior high school students to prepare their entrance exams for high-leveled high schools, I also have taught English from small kids to adults as a private teacher.

By teaching both Japanese and English, I see clearly what people tend to struggle because of the difference between both languages.
I can teach you not only the language, but also Japanese culture, history, and business etiquette and manners.

We can use common text books such as genki, minna no Nihongo, Japanese for busy people, or your own text books as well as my own teaching resources. I would like to use a text book as a guide to make it easier to follow the process of your study, but I always make sure you can find your best way to learn. My goal is also to make my students achieve their goals, help them to be able to use the language as a communication tool, not just fill in brackets for exercises in textbooks.
