Hello! I'm Daniel, an undergraduate student at the University of California, Irvine majoring in mathematics. I am deeply interested in how mathematics shapes the world around us, and I love helping others gain an intuitive understanding of math. I approach complex concepts using simple analogies, real-world situations, and visual aids. Every student learns differently, and I am skilled at personalizing my teaching style to accommodate individual needs. I am comfortable tutoring K-12 math...

I am comfortable tutoring K-12 math concepts.

I received my high school diploma from Orange County School of the Arts with a 4.3 GPA (4.0 scale). During my senior year, I self-studied for AP Calculus BC and received a 5 on the AP exam. I received a 790 on the SAT math portion and a 33 on the ACT math portion. I also volunteered for my high school's peer tutoring program tutoring in my school's Integrated math curriculum. Integrated math covers many high school subjects, notably algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics. As part of the peer tutor program, I met with students weekly to practice problems and review previous assessments to prepare for upcoming exams. These meetings helped students improve their grades and gain confidence in their math abilities. During high school, I also volunteered as a TA at a summer arts camp where I helped elementary and middle school students complete projects across various art mediums and supported teachers as needed.
