I love teaching. I find the most rewarding part of it is finding how each student individually wants to learn. Tailoring each lesson to each student and watching them understand concepts in mathematics and computer science is the best experience I could hope for.

I love teaching. I find the most rewarding part of it is finding how each student individually wants to learn. Tailoring each lesson to each student and watching them understand concepts in mathematics and computer science is the best experience I could hope for.
I received a Bachelor's Degree from UC Berkeley in Mathematics and Computer Science. Later, I received a Master's Degree from USC in Computer Science Game Development.
I was the lead TA / Graduate Student Instructor for a UC Berkeley class on coding UI interfaces. I taught weekly discussion sections, gave guest lectures to the class, and was the point person for the Disabled Students Program.
I also served as a grader in an Abstract Algebra class at UC Berkeley. I worked on college level rubrics and graded students based on official university requirements. Part of my job was to help students who were falling behind in the class, which I would do through offering feedback and volunteering time to mentor them.
I have also been a TA for a UC Berkeley class in Data Structures, and separately I teach middle to high school kids a yearly course on Python as part of the Berkeley Math Tournament.
I published two games on Steam, serving as the Lead Engineer for one of them, and the UI Engineer for the other.
I have also worked in the tech industry, making software for large crowd simulations and behaviors.
I love tutoring students of all ages. From middle school to college students, I've had thorough experience making one on one lessons plans for each individual. I want to get to know my student and see how they most enjoy learning.
I teach subjects in:
Computer Science: C, C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, LeetCode Training, Algorithms
Game Design: Unity, UnReal
Mathematics: Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Discrete Math, Linear Algebra
If there's any subject you want that's not on this list, please message me and I'll see if I can teach it!
I look forward to meeting with you,
Noah

I received my Bachelor in Mathematics and Computer Science from UC Berkeley, and my Master's in Computer Science from USC. At UC Berkeley and USC, I took rigorous courses in C++, specializing in combining pointers and object orientated data structures together to create a rendering pipeline for toon shaders. After receiving my degrees, I made games in UnReal Engine using C++. Excellent and Passionate Tutor

Noah was an excellent tutor. He taught me about Events and Listeners in C#. He explained the concept to me very well, using lots of different examples to convey these tough ideas into a simple and digestible format. I was able to understand Events and Listeners and then directly apply it to the video game I've been working on during my lesson with Noah. I recommend Noah to anyone looking to learn and who wants to gain a passion for topics that felt at first, hard and complicated to understand. Noah is great at making those concepts understandable and fun!
