I graduated from The University of Colorado - Boulder with an Economics and Finance degree in 2021. Upon graduating I started my career as a credit analyst evaluating loan applications and multi-family properties to present to our loan committee. After 6 months, I was promoted to Credit Analyst 2, helping my team secured over $75MM in loan value. During my employment I also pursued and passed my CFA level 1 as well as other various modeling and analysis certifications through Wall Street Prep and CFI. After a year with the bank, I made the decision to move to a boutique lower-middle-market investment bank as an analyst. While working here I helped closed 3 different sell-side advisory deals while obtaining my FINRA SIE and Series 79. Most recently, I've been working remotely as an Associate for another Investment Bank focused on consumer and technology companies. Here I have spent the past ~2 years assisting and leading capital raises and sell-side transactions while also performing various management consulting services for our clients.
My educational and work-related experience within the fields of finance and economics have allowed me to develop a strong understanding of the mechanics of both fields from a scholiastic and real-world application. I understand how difficult these concepts can be to grasp for students and aspiring professionals as most of my knowledge and achievements were self-obtained. Although, while I had limited help getting this level, I have had the pleasure of assisting both my peers and analysts within my firm to improve their skills and knowledge base. Now, I want to utilize my experience to give back and help the next generation of upcoming professionals looking to break into the private capital markets or just to simply better understand Economics and Finance to improve their grades in school.
My formal tutoring experience is limited but I have spent the past 18 months managing and training my firm's team of analyst and I'm sure I provide the same guidance to you.
