Hi, my name is Jasmine and I graduated from La Sierra University with a B.A in Psychology and currently working towards obtaining my J.D. My academic journey began in high school as a first time college graduate who had to navigate essay writing, trust prep and application process and joy found in that as I excelled in courses such as English (Writing) and graduated high school with a 3.8 GPA. That academic foundation set myself up for college but how I juggle, develop and manage complex subjects, research and study prep and organization methods that helped me succeed that I use currently as I am obtaining my J.D that I want to pass on to the student I tutor. My method and approach is aimed towards not only helping students improve their grades but to cultivate the confidence and help provide them the tools such as effective study techniques and critical thinking tips they need to feel confident enough for them to build that academic foundation that will exceed beyond the current grade level and season of life they are in.
I offer personalized tutoring for students K-12 with English, Writing, Test Prep, Reading Comprehension, Essay Writing and Organization. I also provide guidance on college applications which include resume assistance and using personal experience in crafting effective strong applications.
