Hello, my name is Nanda. I hold a PhD in Genetics from Michigan State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Cancer Genetics from Rockefeller University. I feel fortunate to have experienced the impact of great teachers who ignited my passion for learning. This enabled me to pursue a career as a scientist, which involves lifelong learning. Having seen the immense progress made in the fields of cancer biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics, I feel I am well-placed to help others who wish to gain a deeper understanding of various concepts in these fields.
During my PhD, I worked as a teaching assistant for undergraduate-level biochemistry and molecular biology courses. I led office hours, where I was able to help students at a deeper level. I enjoy teaching the concepts in these fields in combination with the most recent advances in the field. This can not only provide a learning experience but also spark an interest in pursuing science as a career.
I am very responsive and look forward to utilizing my expertise in helping students achieve their goals.
