I then try to connect what they understand to areas of challenges so that lessons can be brought to educationally sound conclusions. With Social Studies, I try to help students understand the basis for the occurrence of historical events so that students can realize how those events have shaped current affairs. I also use audio-visual aids in helping students understand concepts better. I have experience tutoring social studies concepts like government forms, rights of citizens, levels of government, arms of government, American Political behavior, American History, World History, current affairs and other social studies topics.

Happy and Grateful

My daughter is behind in math and struggles with many of the concepts. Tobi has been very kind and patient yet persistent in introducing her to new concepts. He has introduced methods and processes that have helped her gain traction in new areas of learning. Because of his work with other 5th graders, he is aware of what topics are being taught and doing his best to pull her up to standard.
