My name is Elvyre B, and I am pleased to introduce myself as a French tutor and native French speaker. I was born and educated in Togo, West Africa, where I completed my entire academic journey—from kindergarten through my bachelor’s degree in business administration in the French language. French is my first language, and I have also had the opportunity to travel to France on multiple occasions, further strengthening my linguistic and cultural fluency. This provided me with a strong foundation in grammar, spelling, writing, and oral communication. Through my education and daily use of French in personal and professional contexts, I have developed native-level fluency and an accurate, natural pronunciation.

After immigrating to the United States, I continued my education and earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration at Butte College, followed by two Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Project Management. at California State University, Chico. During my college years, I worked as a French tutor, providing one-on-one instruction to students at various proficiency levels.

My tutoring approach is personalized and student-centered. I focus on helping learners build confidence in speaking, improve grammar and pronunciation, expand vocabulary, and gain a deeper understanding of French culture.
