The benefit of having worked in museums and libraries, is having developed skills to reach any and all types of students, regardless of age or need. I have a knack for engaging all people, from little ones to adults, at all functional levels. I love to tailor my lessons to each individual or group, their objectives, and to curate individual curricula to meet each individual’s needs, abilities, and expectations.
Working in museums and libraries has cultivated the skill of giving a broad range of learners the modules with which to process and retain information, and how to do so, at their own level and pace, while also challenging them to think and look beyond, ask questions, and build their knowledge. No two learners are the same, and each deserves the time to find and express their strengths, and have a safe place to push for more.
