Hi, I'm Milo! I am a recent graduate with a degree in English and currently work part-time for San Diego County Library. I have experience with writing (fiction and nonfiction, creative and analytical), critical analysis, editing, and proofreading. I am also used to public speaking (theater and speeches) and have several years of experience working with children ages 5-14. I'd love to be a part of your or your student's learning journey! I grew up here in San Diego and was always at my best when I was writing and reading. I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, and had to adapt my study skills to how my brain works. I am used to working with my learning style instead of against it, and can work with students to find their learning styles.

I've worked with a variety of ages in after-school care and summer camps. In these settings, I created and maintained relationships with the kiddos in my care. I was also part of helping with homework time and helping with reading and spelling assignments as well as basic math. In my college career, I edited and proofread classmates' essays and consistently received top marks on writing and reading assignments. I was a member of the editing team of Bravura, Palomar College's literary magazine. This honed my skills of editing, proofreading, and writing fiction and nonfiction. I received my BA in English from Loyola Marymount University in August 2025, finishing my time there on the Dean's List. I now work as a Library Technician and have experience with research, sourcing, and navigating databases and catalogs.
