I'm Edgar! I I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (3.7 GPA) and I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Master's degree in Mathematics (4.0 GPA). I have 4+ years of experience tutoring K-12 students and college students with a variety of math subjects. The Best Tutor Ever!
I hired Edgar to tutor my son in Calc 2. There really aren't enough superlative adjectives to describe Edgar. First off, he knows his math. He is extremely knowledgeable. That was evident from his background. My son said, "Edgar explained the math in a different way from my professor that just made more sense." But knowing math is just the first step. He is also an amazing teacher. He is patient, kind and makes a connection with his students. My son feels more confident after each session with Edgar, which is the true sign of a superior tutor. I am extremely grateful to Edgar for helping my son get through Calc 2. Next up, Calc 3 and Linear Algebra. If he's available, I'll be counting on Edgar to get him through those courses too. 5 shiny stars!!

Edgar is very patient and insightful
I contacted Edgar to help me with some trigonometry lessons and concepts I wasn't able to put in action and really understand by myself. He was able to understand where I was stuck and break things down for me to move forward and point where I needed to practice more. He also helped me plan my learning plan in regards to my goals. Note that I am an adult student, learning some math for career and side projects, so I'm unaware of the school curriculum and using online resources and various books. Definitely recommend Edgar for math tutoring, I will contact him again!

Excellent Calculus Tutor
Edgar is a very capable Calculus tutor. He encourage us to send him materials ahead of time so he knows what we need help on. He was well prepared for our lesson; he explained all the problems clearly and very easy to understand. We couldn't be happier to have Edgar's help.
