I am a professional filmmaker, director, and creative entrepreneur with over a decade of hands-on experience in video production, content creation, and digital media. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Film Directing from the Los Angeles Film School and a second Bachelor's degree in Economics. I am also a USPA Accelerated Freefall Instructor, one of the highest-level teaching certifications in skydiving, which trained me to teach clearly under pressure, manage anxiety, and break complex skills into safe, step-by-step progressions.
I am the founder of two active creative businesses, VOWERA and Design33, where I work daily with modern tools including AI-assisted design, web development, and visual storytelling. My tutoring focuses on three main areas. The first is building real websites using AI tools, where students learn to use assistants like ChatGPT and Claude to plan, design, and publish a working website online. The second is smartphone filmmaking and content creation, covering shot composition, lighting, sound, story structure, and editing in free apps like CapCut. The third is Arabic language tutoring as a native speaker, helping beginners with conversation, reading, and writing.
Over the years I have informally mentored younger family members, community youth, and junior filmmakers on my professional sets, guiding them through real projects from concept to finished product. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, hands-on, and project-based. Students always leave a session with something they actually built, whether it is a live website, a finished short film, or real spoken Arabic conversation. I tutor students ages 9 to 18, online or in person, and I customize each session to the student's pace, interests, and goals.

Approved Subjects

Arabic

Arabic

I am a native Arabic speaker, born and raised speaking Arabic at home, with full fluency in reading, writing, and conversational dialects. I have informally tutored beginners and family members in Arabic for years, helping them build confidence in everyday conversation, pronunciation, alphabet mastery, and reading short texts. My teaching style is patient, conversational, and culturally rich — I bring in real-world context, useful phrases, and exposure to Modern Standard Arabic alongside common spoken dialect, so students learn language they can actually use. I work especially well with young learners and complete beginners who want a friendly, encouraging start to the language.
Film

Film

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Film Directing from the Los Angeles Film School and have worked professionally as a filmmaker for over a decade, directing, shooting, and editing commercial, brand, and event productions through my company VOWERA. My expertise covers the full filmmaking process including story development, shot composition, cinematography, lighting, audio capture, and editing using industry-standard tools like Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve, as well as accessible apps like CapCut for beginners. I have mentored junior filmmakers and content creators on professional sets and informally taught younger family members and community youth their first short films from concept to finished project. My teaching approach is hands-on and project-based, so students always finish with a real short film they actually made themselves.
Video Production

Video Production

I am a professional video producer with over a decade of hands-on experience running productions from concept through delivery for commercial, brand, wedding, and event clients through my company VOWERA. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Film Directing from the Los Angeles Film School, and my work covers every stage of video production: pre-production planning and storyboarding, camera and lighting setup, sound capture, on-set directing, editing in industry tools like Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve, and color grading. I also teach beginners using accessible apps like CapCut and smartphone-based workflows, so young learners can produce professional-looking videos without expensive gear. Students finish each session with a real video they shot, edited, and exported themselves.
