As a college music major and music administrator, I can confidently say that Steve is an exceptional piano teacher. He is truly top of the line with a very profound understanding of classical piano, and a meticulous approach to teaching that is the proper way to build a pianist to becoming an exceptional player. Steve emphasizes foundational skills from the very first lesson, ensuring students build strong technical proficiency. Whether it’s finger placement, posture, etc. you rarely find teachers that will pay this much attention to this level of technique. Steve is very kind, patient, encouraging, and tailors his teaching to each student's individual and personal learning pace, making sure I never felt overwhelmed while still challenging me to improve. Highly recommended, will be re-booking, and taking regular lessons.

Engaging, classically, trained, and encouraging
We've been so happy with Steve as our Piano Teacher for our nine-year-old and six year-old. He is patient, encouraging and clearly classically trained, which shows in the solid foundation. Our kids have built in just a short time their skills and confidence have noticeably advanced. He has a wonderful way of keeping lessons, engaging well still challenging them to improve. We're grateful to have found such a skilled and caring teacher.
