Hi, I’m Kata. It’s so nice to meet you! I am a Mechanical Engineering major with a Math Minor at Cal Poly Pomona, and I have been tutoring math for the past five years. Our session was focused primarily on AP Calculus BC material. I was extremely unconfident in my knowledge leading up to the AP exam, but she seamlessly simplified the curriculum and helped me be better prepared for the exam. I don’t have my scores back yet, but I know I performed much better with her help than I would have on my own.

Kata has been incredible for my daughter . She has helped her tremendously with her college Business Calculus class. Kata was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and able to explain difficult concepts in a way that actually made sense. She helped break down problems step-by-step and made me feel much more confident going into assignments and exams. Kata's teaching style was clear, encouraging, and easy to follow. My daughter improved both her understanding of the material and my grades because of their help. I would highly recommend Kata to anyone taking Business Calculus.

kata is a true life saver. To be honest I dropped out of calculus twice and expressed to her my struggles and weaknesses. She has helped me prepare for the class before I started and has been helping me throughout the way. To be honest she has made calculus very smooth sailing. I have more confidence and support.. She is very patient. She takes her time and does not move on to the next step until she fully agrees that you understand each step before moving forward. One thing I love about her is you can tell that she’s very passionate about teaching and helping others to succeed. She also makes it very warming to feel comfortable to tell her you don’t understand something. She doesn’t get aggravated. She doesn’t get annoyed.
