Hello, I am Alejandro, but you could call me Alex! I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Oftentimes in college, I have had a mix of different professors for the courses I was taught programming for. Something that will always stick with me the most was the professors who helped me feel engaged in the course which happened more when the discussion occurred. Often when helping friends out with the programming courses we took, I had discussions with them about what was taught to help them understand where we excelled and where we needed improving. When tutoring I want to make it a comfortable environment for people to ask any question, no question is ever too "ridiculous". I also want to make it fun and interactive for people to learn to program and hopefully make it a true passion for them.
I have been programming for about 2 years now with C++. I have been able to create a 2D video game that plays like the game "Space Invaders". I have about half a year with Swift, but I created a To-Do app that motivates college students to be more prepared about their daily life on an iPhone 11 model. A lot of the time I also work with Microsoft Word on different devices such as Laptops, tablets, and phones. I use this to plan what to program or for essays.
I always want to make it my goal that whoever I help out with learning any type of material, that they are sure about what they learned. I am very open to any question about anything! So please do not feel afraid to contact me about any question you may have or to plan a lesson!
