Nate graduated with his bachelor's in anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley with Highest Distinction in General Scholarship (Summa Cum Laude) and Highest Honors in his department. He was also awarded The McCown Prize, which is awarded to the graduating senior judged to be the most outstanding Anthropology student in the class.
