I'm Evan. I am currently at the Santa Rosa Junior College with a goal of a future bachelor's degree in Computer Science. My favorite subjects became clear to me quick, Computer Science and Mathematics. I had a passion for them. Not only for myself but also in teaching others. My peers would often come to me after seeing me ace test after test and I realized that I had passion for helping others understand the ins and outs of these complex subjects. I like to break problems down into simpler and easier to understand parts, and take a crack at those first. I'll spend as long as you need to understand the basics and try my best to answer any kind of questions you may have. I can give example problems to help you understand hard concepts and give pointers of where you may want to focus your studying.
In computer science I have studied deep into Java and C++ and could help in any class, for example AP Computer Science A at Casa Grande where I got a 5 on the AP test, or any of the CS 10 classes at the JC (A, B, or C). In math, I can help in any class below or at a first year calculus level, where, again, I got a 5 on the AP test.
I have done many 1 on 1 tutoring with students from upper high school level to early college students. I am also a student with goals similar to yours and I understand how difficult a few subjects may be for some students.
