I first began tutoring in high school and most recently worked with AmeriCorps, where I taught students in grades 3 through 8 in a one on one online setting. As part of the program, I completed training on effective teaching strategies and how to adapt lessons using different mediums ,like incorporating visual tools such as counting blocks or engaging online platforms. This experience taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and meeting students where they are. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident and encouraged to grow.
