I taught U.S. History, World History, and U.S Government in at an excellent Continuation High School for thirty years. Our state test scores rose every year, and we enjoyed ourselves more each year too. If you've always hated history, maybe we can make it different.
What am I like? Well, I like to laugh and I sometimes I don't even mind crying. Those are both important when you are a student of life, and that's what "history" is, isn't it? I'm old enough to have read and seen enough history to make it interesting, and young enough to keep you engaged. Let's talk :)
I have a B.S Degree in Social Sciences (history, sociology, psychology, & economics) and three years of study at Dallas Theological Seminary, but I decided not to become ordained because teaching challenging students at a continuation high school seemed more calling.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have completed three years study in Theology and Biblical Languages at Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. I have served as a church youth director and as an associate pastor, and I currently lead a a biweekly community Bible study. I have taught high school level Biblical Studies for three years.
