The MCAT is a long exam, but it doesn't need to be daunting on top of tiring. With a structured plan and targeted review of practice problems, studying for the MCAT can feel more like a manageable task than a scary challenge. This was the mentality that helped me achieve a 522 on my first pass, and which I use to guide other students towards similar success on the road to medical school. In particular, I help students apply their existing STEM knowledge to the C/P and B/B sections, by extracting the critical information from the problem and setting up easy-to-access strategies for retrieving information from their memory. This approach has the added benefit of reducing overall fatigue throughout all four sections.
I enjoy supporting students in most complete way possible, meaning that I incorporate the materials or learning strategies that already work well for my clients into my approach.
