After graduating from California State University, Northridge, I began my teaching career working as an E.S.L. instructor/Educational Supervisor at Los Angeles ORT College where I remained for three years from 1989-1992. In 1992, I moved to Premier Academy in Pasadena/Arcadia. At Premier, I was the head English Instructor specializing in SAT/ACT/ and AP English. I also designed the overall English curriculum for the school. While working at Premier, I also worked as an English professor at Otis Parsons College in Los Angeles. After leaving Premier and Otis in 1996, I became the head English instructor at Excel Institute in Arcadia. At Excel, I designed the English curriculum and taught SAT/ACT and AP English. In addition to my English work, I began college application counseling in 2000, which I continue to do to this day.

Working with students has been my passion and I make it my mission to see that every student with whom I work, succeed. Since every student is unique, I begin by assessing his or her strengths and weaknesses. I then create an individualized plan that can best help each student attain his or her goals. Whether it's getting a perfect score on the SAT, writing the most effective college application personal statement, or just improving basic English skills, I make myself available 24/7, 365 days a year, to find the best strategy to help each student succeed. Using my individualized approach to teaching, I've assisted hundreds of students reach their academic goals.  Over the past twenty five years as an educator and mentor, I've had pleasure of watching hundreds of my students attend top universities across the country and go on to successful careers in medicine, law, business and the arts.
