Hello ! I am an experienced Spanish tutor, with graduate degrees in Spanish & Latin American Studies from UC Berkeley (BA) and Stanford University (MA). I also completed all Ph.D. coursework at UCLA in Hispanic Languages & Literatures (C.Phil). I have 10+ years experience teaching Spanish and Portuguese at: UCLA, Occidental College, Cal State Long Beach, Mount St. Mary's College. Recently I completed college-level Education classes, including Literacy & Children's Literature, and passed the CSET I, II, III exams in Spanish (California Subject Examinations for Teachers).
My full-time career allows me to interact with Spanish-speaking clients daily. I was born & raised in CA, in a bi-lingual home, in addition to formal college training. I have also traveled for extended periods in Mexico, Spain and Brazil. I look forward to helping students with language-learning! Thank you.
