I've been teaching first-year English and writing on the college level for over twenty years, for the past six years at California State University Los Angeles. Whether proofreading your paper or teaching you the fundamentals of composition, my approach is patient and practical. I have two graduate degrees in English: an MFA in Creative Writing and an English MA. A member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, I published numerous articles in journals, newspapers, and blogs.
