Everyone I know who works in Photoshop or Lightroom is self taught and has a different way of applying the program , usually with mixed results. The beauty of working with Michael is that he presents you with techniques that are straight forward and yield maximum results. I use Photoshop in the restoration of 50-70 year old photographic collections. Before connecting with Michael I lacked a system. Each image would have many individual corrections and each one seemed to fix one issue while creating another. Michael focuses on a few universal changes that usually require few if any additional steps to transform images from a degraded state to beautifully restored. Many of his techniques I was completely unfamiliar with. Michael taught Photoshop for over 20 years at the Brooks Institute of Photography. He is patient and focused during each training session. I really enjoy learning from Mike. His easy going accommodating style suites me well. I’d even say we’ve developed a friendship over the last couple months. He continues to address my Lightroom and photography inadequacies in a diligent manner. His knowledge of Lightroom and Photoshop is quite impressive and my skill set continues to grow under his tutelage.
