Hi, everyone! I recently graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a 4.0 GPA, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Society and a minor in Spanish. With a strong academic background and passion for working with children, I strive to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

I offer tutoring in K–12 Math, Science, and English, with experience in mathematics and a strong foundation in biology and chemistry. My academic achievements include a 1550 SAT score, with a perfect 800 in Math and a 750 in Reading and Writing. I also have over two years of experience providing one-on-one tutoring in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Precalculus to high school students. I’ve learned that effective tutoring goes beyond explaining how to solve a problem; it requires understanding how each student approaches a concept and adapting explanations to make challenging material more accessible. At UCLA, I also served as an Organic Chemistry Learning Assistant, collaborating with faculty and students to foster an inclusive learning environment and support students as they navigated complex scientific concepts.

In addition to my academic and tutoring experience, I have over three years of experience as a camp counselor, along with several years of babysitting. These roles have helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and an understanding of how to engage with children of different ages and personalities. I enjoy using relatable examples, creative analogies, and real-world connections to make unfamiliar concepts easier to understand and remember.

My approach to tutoring centers on meeting each student where they are and building trusting relationships. II want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, learn how to approach challenges independently, and gain the confidence to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. I would love to connect with you for a free consultation to discuss your student’s needs and how I can help them reach their full potential!
