My own LSAT journey came with its fair share of frustration, hopelessness, and irritation. I was completely self-taught and had to develop the skills, tricks, and endurance on my own. Navigating that process on my own in many ways felt as though I was tutoring myself. I had to identify my weak points, tailor my studying to them, while simultaneously pushing through hundreds of questions. I tried countless preparation sites, books, and online resources and found which worked best for me as well as which resources were worth the investment.
Over the course of three months my confidence in my skills grew and my score improved by over 12 points. What I realized was so many of the methods I developed over the course of hours of studying could have been simply taught to me if I just knew where to look. Now, I hope to help students reach their potential without wasting time that could be better allocated. Through tutoring students, I have seen their scores improve from 150s to high 160s and 170s by implementing targeted drilling, perspective shifts, and methodology.
Everyone's LSAT journey looks different and my tutoring style keeps that in mind: a tailored, flexible plan that prioritizes the individual rather than a "one size fits all" approach to the LSAT. There is no right way to study for the LSAT, nor is there a right way to teach it. Excelling at the LSAT is not just about learning the required skills, its about learning to trust yourself and developing the confidence to succeed.
