I am a recent graduate from Biola University and Cal Poly Pomona, with a double major in Engineering Physics and Mechanical Engineering. I have tutored students for nearly 6 years, both online and in-person. I have a wide range of experience in tutoring various subjects, including math in levels from pre-algebra to differential equations, and other science courses from physical science to mechanics of materials. I have also tutored in intro to C++ and MATLAB, SolidWorks (a 3-D modeling program), and have helped improve numerous students' essays. The majority of students I have taught are high school students and college students; however, I am open to students of any age that need help in these subjects. I usually tutor one-on-one, but some of my tutoring sessions also include group. I have mainly tutored in libraries at various universities, but during Covid, I tutored through Zoom.

The primary method I use to tutor is to ask many questions to see where the student is at in terms of understanding subject material. Most of the time, the student needs help understanding a concept or going through a homework problem/sample problem. However, I will also help students in other areas - such as giving test-taking strategies or helping with time management with classes - if needed. I have had many positive results in my tutoring, including raising students' class grades by as much as 40% in some cases.

Recently, I received my EIT (engineering-in-training) certification after passing the FE Mechanical exam. This demonstrates that I have proficient knowledge in many areas within the mechanical engineering degree as well.
