I'm a recent UCLA graduate that majored in Korean. I've always had a passion to teach Korean as well as interpreting and translating between Korean and English. I have informal experience teaching Korean at an elementary level to small groups of children between the ages 5-11. I believe that learning an additional language opens doors to many new opportunities. Learning about a new language leads to the introduction of a different culture and different people which can expand the horizons and perspective of a person. Learning a new language should never feel like a chore but instead an enjoyable experience.
Despite having been born in the United States I find it to be a blessing in disguise that my native tongue happened to be my first language before English. I grew up speaking and applying Korean both at home and outside socially. I am also very fortunate to have graduated with a BA in Korean from UCLA, a school known to have one of the best Korean programs in North America.
Feel free to schedule lessons with me and I promise to make learning Korean a fun experience. I want to be able to help any students who have a passion and interest in the Korean language and culture. My scheduling is quite flexible for those who have odd-hours and I am easy to contact. Hope to hear from you soon!
