Hello, my name is George and I recently graduated cum laude from Arizona State University with a BSE in Aerospace Engineering with a focus in Astronautics.
Having taken so many physics based courses throughout college, I've found myself comfortable in assisting students with their physics homework and classwork. I know how daunting physics can be as a newcomer to the subject, I remember barely passing AP Physics when I took it in high school. However, my teacher at the time knew how to make the subject exciting, so I did not let up! When I went to take physics in college, it felt much more doable and having tutors and learning assistants at my disposal made me feel much more comfortable. I ended up passing with an A and becoming a tutor myself, a position I've grown fond of. Now that I'm out of college, I find myself wanting to continue being a tutor, so here I am!
Additionally, I've been playing drums for about 15 years and have been teaching for 3 years. I've played countless live gigs from age 10 and have a diverse background in percussion, mainly on drum set. In high school, I was on drum line as well as the school orchestra, which allowed me to learn a wide variety of percussion instruments, which I went on to teach as I became a band section leader.
In all the work I do, my priority is to help my students in the best way that suits them. I find I often learn as much from my students as they may learn from me. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
