Brilliant and kind

Raphael understands advanced statistics so deeply that he can explain concepts at any level -- from the general to the mathematical proof -- seemingly without effort. When I don't understand something, he can quickly identify what's tripping me up and clear the way for me. I felt lost in my graduate Bayesian stats class, but after one 2-hour session with Raphael a week ago, I am not having trouble anymore.

My daughter was struggling with college statistics, and was in danger of not passing the class after taking an incomplete. She worked with Raphael who helped her to understand the concepts, complete all assignments, and do well on the final, thus enabling her to pass the class. Raphael taught pre-calc BC to my daughter who is neurodivergent and had a teacher that had an unorthodox way of teaching the subject. Raphael is not only extremely knowledgeable but he was also very patient when teaching, helping her identify her mistakes and try to solve them on her own.
