I have completed my Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and previously earned my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with a strong academic record (GPA 9.67/10). My academic background has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and analytical problem-solving. I focus on teaching concepts in a clear and structured way so students can develop true understanding rather than rely on memorization.

I have over three years of teaching experience across both classroom and one-on-one settings. I worked as a teaching assistant at Aakar Institute, where I taught mathematics, biology, and chemistry to high school students typically aged 14 to 18. My responsibilities included developing lesson plans, creating and grading exams, and providing individual support through one-on-one tutoring sessions. I have also served as a teaching assistant for university-level mathematics courses, where I conducted tutorial sessions and helped early college students understand topics such as matrices, complex numbers, and numerical methods. In addition to structured classroom teaching, I have provided personalized tutoring to students outside of class to address specific learning gaps.

My teaching approach is personalized and concept-driven, tailored to each student’s level and learning style. I have worked with students ranging from high school to early college level and focus on building confidence alongside academic performance. By identifying weak areas and reinforcing fundamentals through practice and structured problem-solving, I help students become independent learners and improve consistently over time.

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have a strong foundation in Algebra 1, including linear equations, inequalities, functions, and graphing, built through advanced coursework at Stanford. I specialize in breaking down complex problems into clear, step-by-step methods that students can easily follow. With my engineering background, I connect algebra concepts to real-world applications, helping students truly understand rather than memorize. I focus on building confidence, accuracy, and problem-solving skills that prepare students for higher-level math.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I have a strong foundation in Algebra 2 topics including quadratic functions, polynomials, logarithms, and sequences through advanced engineering coursework. I specialize in simplifying complex concepts into structured, step-by-step methods that are easy to follow. My approach emphasizes pattern recognition and problem-solving strategies rather than memorization. I help students build confidence and develop the skills needed for success in higher-level math.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I have a solid background in general chemistry, including stoichiometry, chemical bonding, thermodynamics, and equilibrium. I specialize in simplifying complex reactions and concepts into clear, logical steps that are easy to understand. My teaching focuses on problem-solving techniques and conceptual clarity rather than rote learning. I help students build a strong foundation for exams and future science courses.
Geometry

Geometry

I have a strong foundation in geometry, including congruence, similarity, circles, coordinate geometry, and proofs, developed through advanced math and engineering coursework. I specialize in breaking down complex diagrams and proofs into clear, logical steps that are easy to follow. My approach focuses on building spatial reasoning and strong conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I help students gain confidence in solving geometry problems and writing structured, accurate proofs.
GRE

GRE

I scored 326/340 on the GRE and have a strong grasp of both Quantitative and Verbal sections. I focus on teaching efficient problem-solving strategies, time management, and test-taking techniques rather than just content. My approach is structured and goal-oriented, helping students identify weak areas and improve quickly. I tailor sessions based on each student’s target score and timeline to maximize results.
Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra

I have a strong foundation in linear algebra, including matrices, vector spaces, eigenvalues, and linear transformations, developed through advanced engineering coursework. I specialize in breaking down abstract concepts into clear, intuitive steps with practical problem-solving methods. My approach connects theory to real-world applications in engineering and data science. I focus on building deep conceptual understanding and confidence for exams and advanced math courses.
Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

I hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University with a strong foundation in core mechanical subjects such as mechanics, thermodynamics, and manufacturing systems. I have over four years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, including CAD modeling, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and prototyping in both academic and industry settings. My professional work includes designing precision hardware systems, optimizing manufacturing processes, and applying engineering principles to real-world problems. I also have teaching experience at both high school and university levels, where I have helped students build strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills in engineering and related subjects.
Trigonometry

Trigonometry

I have extensive experience with trigonometry, including identities, unit circle, graphs, and applications, through advanced math and engineering studies. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding, especially for identities and transformations that students often find challenging. I break down problems into intuitive steps and visual explanations to improve clarity. My goal is to help students solve problems confidently and apply concepts in exams and real-world scenarios.
