I am a native Chinese speaker and use an immersive approach to teaching simplified Chinese. I have a complete set of courses for learning Chinese from the basics, including Pinyin, vocabulary, short stories, poetry reading, daily conversations, and tongue twisters, all taught in a fun and engaging way. I can also provide homework assistance and oral reading practice. This entire course will be taught solely using Chinese.

I was born and raised in China, and I was formerly a documentary film music editor and singer. I received systematic training in standard Mandarin and pronunciation at college. After coming to the US, I tutored students aged 7-14 in Chinese and helped them successfully pass Chinese exams. I love seeing students progress from only being able to speak Chinese to being able to read and write it, and becoming increasingly confident in their Chinese skills. I am passionate and patient in my teaching, and I live in the Western Time Zone (PST). I am also very happy and grateful to have the opportunity to learn with you all.
