I have experience tutoring classmates and younger students in Chinese, study skills, and English test preparation. In my sessions, I create clear lesson plans tailored to each student’s level and goals. For Chinese, I focus on building speaking confidence, pronunciation accuracy, and practical reading and writing skills. For study skills, I help students organize their time, take effective notes, and improve memory retention and test performance. For TOEFL prep, I teach strategies to boost scores in all four sections, drawing on my own recent test experience.
I believe in a patient, encouraging approach that makes learning feel achievable and motivating. My lessons include practice, feedback, and plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions and develop independence.
