I'm Margaret. I graduated from Foothill College with an Associate's in Science in Nanoscience in 2019. I also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics in 2021.

I have worked as an instructional aide in teaching applied nanoscience chemistry and am comfortable with teaching abstract non-intuitive subjects to learners from many ages and backgrounds.

The vast amount of coursework I have done grants me a broad knowledge base to help meet you where you are at and how to overcome the immediate problem. I favor creative ways to explain issues due to this broad skill set. I also allocate time to ensure you have time to try the approaches I recommend to see which method best meshes with your own learning style. I am also open to working with the resources and suggestions that you want to try to build a skill foundation for you to solve whatever problems you encounter.

I am currently 100% remote and am happy to provide virtual lessons or homework help. I am easy to reach and can provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!

Business

Business

I live in the heart of Silicon Valley, CA, USA and have had the following coursework in my educational record: Business Law in High School: we learned how business and law affect one another and were tasked with building a theoretically viable small business as our final project. Entrepreneurship course in university where I was one of 10 admitted students and the only female-led hardware device project. We were tasked to pitch before investors as our final project and investors were impressed with my concept. I deferred investment until the completion of my undergraduate degree. Personal Finance in University where I learned under the guidance of a female former Venture Capitalist. I placed third in the investment contest project in the course, as I was the only one with a cohesive financial plan for our theoretical stock portfolios. The first and second place winners confessed that they picked stocks for which they had little knowledge and "lucked out". I used the knowledge from this course to exit my recent job with no debt.
Career Development

Career Development

I planned my own career from 0 with much critical thinking and research. I got three degrees in a breadth of subjects gauged by the proximity to the greatest quantity of opportunities they could collectively grant me in Nanotechnology, Humanities, and multiple sub-fields of Electrical Engineering. In the current age, out of the box thinking is essential for thriving within our new challenges as a collective society.
Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Within the field of Electrical Engineering, I have studied bioelectronics, nano-scaled electronics, properties of materials, electrical circuits, analog electronics, advanced renewable energy, radio frequency hardware, and other subjects to earn my bachelor's degree. I have also worked in industry and in government labs in specialized niches of Electrical Engineering on interdisciplinary teams as a woman in tech. I enjoy working with learners at all levels to succeed no matter where they begin.
Linguistics

Linguistics

I have taken psycholinguistics, syntax, phonology, and other courses to qualify for a Linguistics bachelor's degree.
Logic

Logic

Both of my majors required extensive applied logic throughout my education. I have taken Logic Design for my Programming and Electrical engineering curriculum requirements; also, Semantics and Pragmatics for my Linguistics degree which both require logic conceptual framework to excel in these subjects.
