I am a Postdoctoral Fellow and Adjunct Professor in Organization Theory and Management at Pepperdine University's Graziadio Business School, where I teach graduate-level management courses and conduct research in organizational behavior, human resource management, leadership, and work design. I earned my Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Pepperdine University and have more than fifteen years of executive leadership and consulting experience working with organizations to improve performance, leadership effectiveness, and employee well-being. My research has been published in the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, and my current research program examines burnout, worker engagement, organizational behavior, and progressive work design using an international dataset of more than 8,400 workers across 81 countries.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorize information. Whether I am working with undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students, I break complex concepts into clear, manageable steps while encouraging critical thinking and practical application. I enjoy helping students with business, writing, theses, and dissertations. My experience includes teaching undergrad and graduate levels, mentoring masters and doctoral research, supervising research projects, and providing individualized guidance to students with diverse educational backgrounds and career goals.
As a tutor, I strive to create a supportive, engaging, and collaborative learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities. I tailor each session to the student's goals and learning style, regardless of what they need help mastering. My objective is to help students succeed on their current assignment or course and equip them with analytical and critical thinking skills that will benefit them throughout their academic and professional careers.
