I've tutored high school and college students for over 8 years in Southern California. I taught math and economics at Mt. San Antonio College and am currently an honors and AP math teacher in Arizona. I myself have scored a perfect 800/800 score on the SAT math section and have earned a 5/5 on the AP calculus exams. I know what it takes to perform well on these tests and am eager to share these strategies with you or your student.

I've tutored throughout my college years at CSULB and CPP. I've taught up to linear algebra and statistics through various university centers & departments and have worked with a wide range of people. While pursuing my graduate degree, I gained classroom experience as a TA and instructor, where I eventually became an adjunct professor. I'm now a full-time Sophomore and Senior honors & AP mathematics teacher. I currently hold a B.S. in Mathematics, B.A. in Economics, an MSc in Economics, and have teaching certification in Arizona.

I work hard to ensure students get the most out of their sessions with me and am extremely passionate about their academic success. My strengths as a tutor come from being patient, understanding, and knowing how to help. My favorite part about being a tutor is seeing the decrease in students' overall stress and frustration levels after showing them how easy the learning material can become. I believe in establishing a strong foundation when it comes to teaching math and I am confident in tailoring my sessions to meet any students' needs. I am friendly and have experience working with children as young as 5, college athletes, and actual Vietnam Veterans! I've also worked with persons of disability before including: deaf, blind, and mentally disabled students.
